Meet Me At Stan’s!
Just a little programming note…
I’ll be signing copies of “She-Fan” at the one and only Stan’s Bar across from the old Yankee Stadium!
When? Wednesday, June 17th, 3:30-5:30 p.m. – before the Yanks-Nats game.
How? The Bay Plaza Barnes & Noble in the Bronx will be on hand to sell books.
Why? Because I’m going to the game that night, so why not meet and greet before the first pitch?
Stan’s is an institution among Yankee fans and those visiting the Stadium, and the event should be a lot of fun. Stop by and say hello and spread the word!
Confessions of a She-Fan 
I actually tried to enjoy a Baby Ruth 6 oz. cheese burger done medium well there this afternoon before the subway series game, but it came out well done and tasted like pure charcoal. WEAK. If I decide to go to the game on Wednesday rather than Tuesday, I’ll drop by and get you to sign somethin’. Does it absolutely HAVE to be the book? I mean, I understand it would the more logical item to have your John Hancock on, but how about a BASEBALL?! Let me know. Thanks Jane!

Donnie, that cheeseburger will be off my list! Thanks for the tip. I’m not sure whether Barnes & Noble will be OK with me signing other stuff, but you can certainly stop by and give it a try. It would be fun to meet you in any case.

Jane I am not sure I will be able to get out of work and up there in time to meet you but I am going to try! I’d like to say hi and get my book signed. Your blog makes me smile everyday and I wanted to thank you for that in person.
Cheshirecat, we had no choice about the timing of the signing at Stan’s, given how busy they get after 5:30 on game nights. So it was earlier or not at all. I hope you can stop by. It would be fun to put the name with the face!

I don’t know if you have heard this …but …bad news for Wednesday’s game…they flip flopped Sabby & Wanger which means Wanger WILL be pitching Wednesday.
If you didn’t know I’m sorry I had to break the news to you. Who knows …maybe Wanger will pitch a gem for his new baby boy …who will be here Tuesday by induction if not before. Wanger can pitch with a clear head and win as a tribute to Baby Wanger.
After last night’s game … as you can see ANYTHING can happen… :o)…

I did hear, Peggy, and I’m actually kind of glad I’ll get to see Wang on Wed. This will be a make or break game for him, as far as the starting rotation goes, so there should be plenty of drama. If he falters early, I’ll just leap over the railing and pitch a few innings myself!

I’m off to a bbq with family …two Met fans will be there (the
black sheep of the family..lol). The TV will be on the deck with the game in full view. I’m hoping it doesn’t rain ..right now not looking too promising.

Wow…It blows my mind at how long it took me to get my 1st blog up. If I wasn’t so stubborn–wanting it to be exactly how I wanted it to be-(it still really isn’t) I could have posted it days ago. I just hope that I don’t always have these issues or I’m just gonna give up & post my baseball thoughts on my diary.
And…We lost, again. I don’t know about you but I’m sure getting tired of this rollercoaster. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
